M/V SKORPIOS III

The Motor Vessel Skorpios III was built in 1995 at Skorpios shipyard in Chile, in compliance with Chilean and international maritime regulations, including SOLAS and International Maritime Organization requirements, and is currently classified by Overseas Marine Certification Services (OMCS), class No. 20953, IMO No. 9143908. The vessel bears the call sign CBSK and was designed and built for operation in ice-prone waters.

The vessel’s hotel facilities and cabins were refurbished in 2025. The vessel has an overall length of 70 m, a beam of 10 m, a draught of 3.30 m, and a displacement of 1,600 tonnes. She holds an International Freeboard Certificate and a Certificate of Registration (No. 2869) issued by the Directorate General of the Maritime Territory and Merchant Marine of Chile.

She has a capacity of up to 92 passengers based on double occupancy across 46 cabins distributed over five decks. All cabins are equipped with twin, double, queen, or king-sized beds, en-suite bathrooms, a smart TV, background music, and a safe. The vessel also features two comfortable bar lounges and a spacious panoramic dining room.
