At the penultimate stop within the Fjord of the Mountains, we encounter Alsina Glacier—a steep tongue of ice that descends from the mountains into a small bay.
Using Skorpios’ exploration boats, we navigate through the channels to reach the interior of the bay mentioned above.
With the engines shut down, we listen to the creaking of the ice and the gentle clinking of ice floes—sounds that move us and invite reflection on the care of our planet.
This excursion is subject to favourable weather conditions, as strong winds may at times prevent safe operation and landing.
